Description
We are seeking a Systems Data Engineer at the junior level (0-2 years of experience) to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of data systems, with a preference for those who have pursued coursework in Mechanical Engineering or hold a Doctorate. Proficiency in 3DSMax and a demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technologies are essential. Candidates should exhibit strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilites
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide support for data-related projects. Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Document data architecture, processes, and workflows for future reference. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data systems.
Must-have Skills
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong adaptability in dynamic environments and possess proficiency in 3DSMax. A background in Mechanical Engineering is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate or those with some college experience.
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with 3DSMax is a plus, as is a strong adaptability to changing technologies and environments. Advanced knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, particularly at the doctoral level, will be considered an asset.
